For Strange Women: Since 2009, For Strange Women has created small-batch artisan perfume with avant-garde concepts and a timeless handmade aesthetic. The perfumes are thoughtfully constructed with high-quality natural materials; the plant extracts carefully sourced and composed into sublimely balanced blends.Although mainstream culture presents perfume as a cosmetic to conceal other scents or to make us more attractive, FSW seeks instead to create a mindful sensory ritual that allows a connection to nature through its true essences. We believe that natural perfume is genderless and that the scent signature of our skin should be complemented, not hidden. Most of all, we believe perfume should be worn as a personal indulgence and source of inspiration. We know that botanical essences in just the right arrangement can transport the wearer to another time and place. This perfume is designed to create an experience that is beyond sensory aesthetics, conjuring memories from natural landscapes, objects, and atmospheres remembered deep within the subconscious. These scents meld with the skin and stay close to the wearer. For those who are normally allergic to perfume, this is typically a reaction to the chemicals hidden inside synthetic fragrances. We find natural plant oils to be safer, more satisfying to the senses, and to benefit the mind and body with aromatherapy. The complex scent arrangements evolve as they are worn and fade within eight hours.

Oracle KC: Oracle is a natural science store in Kansas City, MO, featuring locally made framed insects, bones, unusual taxidermy, memento mori pieces, and the occult. We strive to create a fascination for the sciences and a passion for the old strange ways of the natural world. Though we are a taxidermy shop we heavily focus on the ethical acquisition of our products. Being animal lovers, we believe that nothing leaves us after death and we are here to honor the animals above all.

Alessandra Dzuba: Alessandra Dzuba spent most of her childhood days dreaming up animal monsters, pretending to be a mad scientist, and catching and growing butterflies in the city parks of Montreal. Today, she’s still dreaming and drawing monsters, but with a BFA in printmaking and psychology, we’re pretty sure she isn’t mad. A nomad at heart, she spends her days in Oracle, while the rest of her time is split between gallery shows, being a nerd, and taking care of her two tarantulas, cats, and mantis. At Oracle, she specializes in bone and insect preservation, articulating skeletons, and offering pet preservation and memorials. Her work is heavily derived in rituals and the deeper psychology of our animal minds. See more of her work at

Rattlebone: Teri Quinn is a nationally touring singer-songwriter based in Kansas City. Her tunes are sweet harmonizing with savory, lace entwined with barbed wire; a romance of old-fashioned sound with modern grit. She hollers with the clawhammer banjo versifying about moon phases and matters of the heart. Quinn’s enchanting voice and lyricism of whiskey and witchcraft is a timeless elevation of the feminine and fearless. You can find her music at or
