Gabriel Varzalyi-Lopez

Gabriel Varzalyi-Lopez is a devotee to his ancestors, spirits of nature, and the God and Goddess of his mother and father. He is a seer, diviner, animist, teacher, and conjurer trained in the Marigny neighborhood of New Orleans at Crescent City Conjure, before its move into the French Quarter. While mainly working in Southern Conjure, he is an initiate into his ancestral and familial lineages such as trollkunning and Ìṣẹ̀ṣe.
Gabriel sees the balance that both the spiritual and material world have in the progression of one’s life. Born from a lineage of witches, orthodox priests, farmers, artists, and at times rebellious characters, he understands the process by which messages are received from Spirit, allowing for a different type of magical work to occur.

Tarot Reading

Gabriel offers a selection of three different decks for the client to choose from. One pertaining to the higher self, one to the ancestors, and one for the spirits of nature. Each deck will have a different voice pertaining to what the client is searching for during the session. During these sessions, one can ask anything they wish to know the knowledge of, however death and sickness questions may not be asked.

Mediumship

Spiritual mediumship consists of trying to contact the deceased, and or a spiritual guide within one’s spiritual court. This reading can make sure that their spirit is at peace and deliver all messages that the client wants to ask. Sometimes however, the client’s desired spiritual encounter will be of someone else, depending on what needs to be delivered first.

Bone Reading

This type of reading will consist of ritual objects thrown onto the conjured surface to foretell what energy is at work or how to mitigate the situation at hand. A tarot card will be drawn to direct the reading into what energies are presented. In a bones reading, we will look at how the five elements, fire, water, earth, air, and spirit, are at play in one’s life. When balanced, the energies will work in one’s favor. If one is unbalanced, we can see what to do to mitigate the situation at hand.

Tasseomancy

This type of spiritual work consists of the intuitive approach to divination. This will consist of a divination session involving tea leaves, and depending where they fall, will determine the message. These can look farther in the foreseeable future versus other styles of divination.

Spell Consultations

This offering is available for people who want to consult on spells and workings performed by the client. I will go over the course of action that is best suited for the situation and curate a spell that the client will perform themselves.
