Buckland’s Complete Book of Witchcraft by Raymond Buckland.

THE classic text on Wicca. Written by Raymond Buckland in 1986, this workbook walks you through a year and a day training in becoming a first-degree Wiccan. I read this book over 20 years ago! While not my personal path of practice, I value this book for it’s foundations in so many different aspects of Witchcraft from history to altar building to divination practices to herbs and so much more. The workbook format is great for staying active in learning. I usually tell people in my store that this book was written from the perspective of the traditional Wiccan practices taught to Buckland from Gerald Gardner. So although the particulars about how his rituals are written may not be the style you are interested in (or may be!) this book is excellent for laying the foundations of a solid practice and knowledge of the many aspects of Witchcraft. 335 pages.
